Services

Crane and operator service

We bring the crane, the NCCCO-certified operator to run it and a rigger. One call to dispatch.

Crane service with an NCCCO-certified operator and rigger

Every Concho Crane Co. job goes out with a crane, an NCCCO-certified operator and a rigger. Nothing goes out without both, so you get the crane, the crew and one company to call.

  • The right crane for the lift, whatever the size
  • An NCCCO-certified operator and rigger on every job
  • Rigging plans and safety plans when the job needs them
  • Based in West Texas, working statewide

Crane service for any size lift

From light picks to heavy lifts, call dispatch with the load, the location and the date.

Crane size comes down to more than the weight of the load. How far the crane has to reach, how high the load goes, the rigging and the ground under the outriggers all decide which crane fits the job. Tell us those details and we'll match the crane to the lift.

When a load is too long or too heavy for one crane, or one crane can't make the reach, we plan a tandem lift with two cranes and write the rigging plan for it.

Scheduling crane and operator service

Most jobs follow the same path from the first call to the last pick:

  1. Call dispatch with the load, the location and the date.
  2. We check the weights, the reach and the site access.
  3. We write a rigging plan or safety plan if the job needs one.
  4. The crane, operator and rigger arrive and set up on outriggers.
  5. The rigger rigs the load and the operator makes the lift.
  6. We rig down, pack up and move on.

Crane lift site preparation

A few details make for a faster quote and a smoother day on site:

  • The weight and size of each load
  • Where the load is picked and where it sets
  • Site access for the crane and its trucks
  • Firm, level ground where the crane sets up
  • Overhead power lines or other hazards nearby
  • Your schedule and any site rules or permits

Oilfield and construction crane service

Midstream, oil and gas and frac work is the core of what we do, and we take on any job that needs a crane: construction, infrastructure, wind, HVAC and more.

FAQ

Questions about crane and operator service

What comes with a crane and operator job?

The crane, an NCCCO-certified operator to run it and an NCCCO-certified rigger. We don't send a crane out without both.

How do I know what size crane I need?

You don't have to work it out. Tell dispatch the load weight, how far it has to reach and how high it goes, and we'll work out the right crane for the lift.

Do you work outside West Texas?

Yes. We're based in West Texas and work statewide, anywhere in Texas.
